Ask your schedule
Ask a question. Get the reason, not just the date. Available
Answers come from the engine's own tools and point to the activities, fields and counts behind them.
| You ask | SchX tells you |
|---|---|
When will the electrical building be delivered? | The forecast finish, how much float it has and the chain of activities driving it. |
What's driving the plant handover date? | The driving path back from the milestone, with relationship types and lags. |
What changed on the critical path since last month? | What was added or dropped, how far dates moved and the logic behind it. |
If the switchgear arrives three weeks late, what moves? | Which successors move, by how much, and which milestones lose float. |
Which procurement items have negative float? | The list, with float, the driving successor and the owning WBS. |
What's our deterministic mechanical completion vs our P50? | The deterministic date from Arc beside the P50 from the latest risk run, the gap between them, and the risks driving it. |
Is the schedule ready for the next gate? | DCMA 14-point results, the activities that fail and how the trend is moving. |
Who changed the substation logic yesterday? | The change, who made it, when, and what it looked like before and after. |
Build with your approval
Draft whole sections of plan, then review them one at a time.
- Starts from your template library. Available Select, FEED, tender and engineering workflow templates for onshore and offshore work. Save any selection as a new template.
- Drafts the plan. Available Activities, durations and relationships drafted from a template and staged for review, tied into the logic you already have.
- Reviews it section by section. Available soon Each section checked for duplicate links and loops on its own, with every date it would move shown before you accept it.
- Nothing goes in until a planner approves it. Available Approved changes are logged and can be undone.
| You ask | SchX does |
|---|---|
Add a standard engineering workflow for the compression module after the FEED award. | Picks the template, sizes it, links it in and stages it as one section for review. |
Build the tender phase as a WBS with activities and logic. | Stages the WBS, activities and relationships from the tender template. |
Save this commissioning section as a template. | Adds the branch, activities and logic to your template library. |
Draft fixes for the open ends in commissioning. | Stages each proposed link with a short reason for it. |
Mobile & Voice
Your live schedule, in your pocket. Available
SchX is on iPhone through the companion SchX iOS app, with voice. It connects to the schedule you pin, whether that's a specific project or always the latest update. Just ask, and it answers with the activities behind the answer.
“When will the electrical building be delivered, and what's driving it?”
“Which activities in this area start in the next two weeks?”
“What's our deterministic first production date vs our P50, and what are the top three risks?”
Voice and mobile are read-only. They explain, trace and quantify, but they can't stage, apply or export anything.
Connect your AI tools
MCP connectors for outside AI tools. Available
SchX has its own MCP server. Outside tools get 46 read tools, plus 23 that stage changes for review. Cloud AI clients such as Claude and ChatGPT connect through MCP connectors, with the same permissions and safety as a connection on your own network. They work with your schedule through SchX's engine and follow SchX's rules while they do it.
Reader
Read only. Questions, tracing and analysis across the schedule.
Proposer
The 46 read tools plus 23 that stage changes for review, and nothing more.
Apply is blocked
The server refuses it for outside tools before anything runs. Only one assistant stages changes in a workspace at a time.
Secure sign-in
OAuth sign-in with read or propose scopes. Each client gets its own tool allow-list, rate limits and a way to revoke it.
